With nearly three decades of accounting experience, Andy Stewart, Partner at Kinexus CPAs, brings deep expertise and a practical, real-world perspective to the firm. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Southern Utah University, where he concentrated on Small Business and Individual Taxation. After beginning his career in the private sector in 1996, across Utah and California, he returned to Utah in 2005 and transitioned into public accounting. He has spent his career serving small businesses and individuals with clarity, strategy, and grounded financial insight.

What Drives Him
Andy believes empowered clients make stronger decisions. His passion is teaching small business owners how to understand their finances, enabling them to save money, recognize opportunities, and know when to seek guidance. Helping clients feel confident in their financial future is central to his work.

Fun Fact
Andy grew up in a family of nine children. As the middle child, he naturally developed strong adaptability, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.

Transitioning from the private sector to public accounting marks a significant milestone in Andy’s career. That shift gave him firsthand knowledge of business operations, which he now uses in his strategic tax and financial advising.

What He Wishes More People Knew
Andy wishes more people understood how essential financial literacy is for small business success. Equipping clients with knowledge is central to his mission. How He Recharges
Traveling with his wife, Jodi, is Andy’s favorite way to unwind. Whether it is a weekend drive or an overseas trip, exploring together brings joy. He also loves spending time with his six children, their families, and his grandchildren.
