Partner & Operations Manager

Since joining Kinexus CPAs & Advisors in 2009 and becoming a Partner in 2018, Katie Bowles has played a key role in shaping how the firm operates. With a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah and early experience at an accounting firm, she brings a unique perspective to the accounting world. As Operations Manager, she leads the development and training of systems, processes, and procedures that support a smoother client experience and a stronger firm.

What Drives Her
Katie is motivated by working with the team and creating meaningful client interactions. The greatest reward for her is hearing clients express appreciation for the work the firm does and knowing she played a part in improving their businesses and lives.

Fun Fact
Katie grew up on a fruit farm where she learned hard work, grit, and the skill of connecting with people. Her team affectionately calls her the “Cruise Director” because she makes the office engaging, warm, and productive.

A Career Milestone
She is proud to have helped build the firm from its earlier roots and played a significant part in developing and strengthening its internal processes as the business has grown.

What She Wishes More People Knew
Katie wants people to know that the Kinexus team constantly works to improve. She lives by a philosophy of working hard and finding joy in the process. Her goal is to help team members meet both their personal and professional goals.

How She Recharges
She loves traveling to new places, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, three children, and extended family.
