Leslye Haws brings a rich combination of banking experience, entrepreneurship, and formal accounting education to Kinexus CPAs & Advisors. She began her professional journey at 18 in the banking world, eventually becoming a Service Manager. After stepping away to raise her family, she opened an in-home daycare for 12 years, gaining organizational and leadership skills. When her youngest entered school full-time, she returned to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Western Governors University, completing her degree in only three years.

What Drives Her
Leslye is motivated by learning, growth, and the desire to set an example for her children. She enjoys working alongside strong colleagues and values the daily camaraderie that makes work enjoyable.

Fun Fact
Leslye is an avid reader and always has a book or e-reader nearby. She cannot connect with audiobooks and prefers to read herself. She also enjoys scrapbooking and once attended yearly scrapbook weekends filled with creativity and late nights.

A Career Milestone
Completing her degree in three years, when she was told it would take five, is one of her proudest accomplishments. Her determination helped her achieve her goal of supporting her family sooner.

What She Wishes More People Knew
Leslye wishes more people could see the level of detail and organization required in accounting. She takes pride in finding answers to client questions and staying current with changing regulations, so clients receive accurate guidance.

How She Recharges
Her favorite escape is her family ranch in the mountains. Watching her children fish, ride four-wheelers, or play games brings her peace. She also loves summer barbecues and ending the day with a good book.
