Meet Shawn Gubler
Shawn founded Kinexus CPAs and Advisors in 1999 and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. His background spans both private and public accounting, which gives him a broad perspective that clients appreciate. Over the years, he has also served on boards for private companies, nonprofit groups, and professional organizations, giving him a clear understanding of how financial decisions shape real-world outcomes.

What Drives Him
Shawn believes clients deserve clarity and direction they can trust. His focus is on steady leadership, thoughtful planning, and building a firm culture that supports both clients and staff. He has spent more than two decades shaping Kinexus into a place where people can find practical solutions and long-term guidance.

Education and Memberships
Shawn earned both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Utah University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Society of CPAs and the Utah Association of CPAs. He is also a member of The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Outside the Office
Shawn’s free time is centered around his wife and family. He enjoys fishing, shooting, riding ATVs, boating, traveling, and anything involving cars. He has a strong interest in American history, especially the early years of the United States, and calls himself a novice political junkie. When he wants to relax, you will usually find him watching a comedy, cheering on a football game, or attending his children’s sporting events.
